Israeli citizens who study at MAPMES pay the standard tuition charged by Israeli universities. In such cases, please contact the administrative coordinator.

Students should take into account expenses of about $400 a month on food, independent travel and personal expenses. This amount varies with individual lifestyles. Students should also set aside around $100 per semester for books and school supplies. (This estimate is based on past student experiences).

A student who has been accepted to the program must submit a non-refundable deposit, in the amount of $410, within one month of the date of the letter of acceptance. This deposit will be deducted from the total program cost.
All fees must be paid in US dollars either by check or money order. Checks from students outside the US must be drawn in US currency on a bank that has a branch in the US - the branch location must be indicated on the check.

In addition to tuition and fees, all students who require university housing must submit a deposit on dormitory accommodations in the amount of $ 200 to the Office of Student Services in NY before leaving the US. This deposit covers items received (bedding, space heater, etc.) as well as possible damage incurred to the dorm room. If rooms are left in the same condition as when received upon arrival and all items are returned, the deposit will be returned.

We ask students from countries that do not have visa agreements with Israel to contact the Program coordinator ahead of time. MAPMES will provide them with visas before traveling to Israel. Processing this procedure requires a fee of $20 to be sent to MAPMES Israeli office.

* Registration & payment for Dormitory is possible until June 1st.  This fee also covers the Ulpan period
**Obligatory to student who receive MASA scholarship

*** Registration & payment for SUMMER ULPAN is possible until July 1st

**** Israeli citizens are obligated to pay the final exam fee. It is part of the Isareli tuition.

*****All the figures in NIS are evaluated, and linked to the Israeli CPI
******When writing a thesis abroad, student may ask to waive the Student association fees by sending an e-mail to mapmes@bgu.ac.il by September 1st each year.
