Bio

David Newman is professor of Political Geography and chief editor of the journal Geopolitics. Originally from the UK, he has been at BGU since 1988, and served as Chair of the Department of Politics in its formative years. His research and publications focus on the territorial dimensions of conflict, the contemporary role and significance of borders in a globalized world, and the interface between science and politics.
