Tuition Fees POC-ANNUAL COSTS: * 
Application Fee - $135
Tuition- $9,200

 

Students with Israeli citizenship pay the standard Israeli tuition plus the following:

Security - 404 NIS

Student association** - 330 NIS

Final exam fee - 5% of tuition 

Entrance into the optional thesis route involves the following additional fees:
Thesis Route - $450

Thesis-writing (additional semesters) – 5% of tuition
Extra Credits (over 36) -5% of tuition, per credit

Optional year-long activities under the auspices of the Overseas Student Program (OSP):
(please note - Ulpan and student activities are obligatory and 25% off, for MASA students)
Student Activity & Touring Fees - $2000 ($1500 for MASA Students)
SUMMER ULPAN (Intensive Hebrew Language Course)*** - $1,500 ($1000 for MASA Students)

OSP HEBREW COURSE (during semester, for students with basic Hebrew) - $660 ($495 for MASA Students)

There are many apartments for rent around the University. Renting an apartment independently or with roommates will cost you 1000-2000 NIS monthly per person.

Students should take into account expenses of about $400 a month on food, independent travel and personal expenses. This amount varies with individual lifestyles. Students should also set aside around $100 per semester for books and school supplies (This estimate is based on past student experiences).

 

 

All the figures in NIS are evaluated, and linked to the Israeli CPI 

All fees must be paid in US dollars either by check or money order. 
Checks from students outside the US must be drawn in US currency on a bank that has a branch in the US - the branch location must be indicated on the check.

Foreign students who have been accepted to the program must submit a non-refundable deposit, in the amount of $400, within one month of the date of the letter of acceptance. This deposit will be deducted from the total program cost.  The sum of $4400 must be submitted 10 days before the beginning of each semester.  When writing a thesis abroad, student may ask to waive the Student Association fees by sending an e-mail to poc@bgu.ac.il by September 1st each year.

Beyond the deadlines which are listed here, any registration will be possible based on free spots
